Summer Has Come To An End...

... and I what a busy summer it has been for Kelly Good Photography! I apologize to my July and August clients, but I was not able to write a seperate entry for each of our unique experiences! I made the executive decision to take a much needed break for the past few weeks and focus on my own children before photography requires a lot of my energy and attention in the months ahead. I enjoyed each session and I have included some of my favorites from these sessions in the collage. I was busy with 3 maternity sessions, 3 family/children portrait sessions, modeling headshots, a corporate advertising campaign, as well as a 40th Surprise Birthday Party! I am so excited to see what the future has in store for me as the Fall / early Winter Months promise to be full and successful! I never imagined this dream business which began only a year ago, would turn into a true way for me to suppliment our family's income! Praise Be To God!

Dean Wedding

Many have requested to see some of the photos from the wedding I photographed in June.  I wanted the bride to see the photos before I posted some of my favorites.  I had a fabulous time and this was truly a learning experience for me, being my first wedding.  Overall, though, I was pleased with the outcome!

Fall Mini Sessions!

Since my Spring and Summer Mini-Sessions were a success with the Greensboro Mothers of Multiples, they have requested that I return on Oct.16 and Oct. 23 to photograph their sweet families again.  I have mentioned this to a few of my local clients and have decided to offer a "Fall Mini Session" in Durham on October 9, 2010 at West Point on The Eno River.  The colors of fall are so beautiful and my goal is to provide an opportunity for a casual portrait in time for Christmas Cards, favorite holiday gifts, or just a memorable "freeze framed" moment at this stage in your family's busy life!  If there is enough interest, I will offer a second date in early November.  Details are below:
Sessions will begin at 8:30am and last for 25 minutes, allowing 5 minutes between sessions.  Clients will receive a CD by mail within two weeks containing 15-20 image files with permission to upload and print on their own.  Cost is $60 (non-refundable reservation fee of $25 due within one week of scheduling appointment; remaining $35 is due the day of photo session).  When contacting me for appointment availability, please understand that I will do my best to meet your needs, but please indicate a "second choice" for your session time.  You may purchase a "Double Session" for $100 total if you would like more time with the photographer and more images to choose from on your CD.  For now, I will post available times and update as I receive feedback.  I'm looking forward to this experience!

My First Beach Session

While on vacation at Ocean Isle, I had the pleasure of photographing my best friend from college and her family on the beach.  We have a special friendship; we had not seen each other in almost 2 years, although we talk often, but when we saw each other, it was if we hadn't skipped a beat!  Her family is beautiful and the session was a lot of fun and full of laughs.  Below are some of my favorites:

Sweet Sweet Family Session

An old friend of mine who grew up living down the street from me gave her best friend the timeless gift of photography for Mother's Day.  I met this sweet family at Duke Gardens and spent a beautiful morning photographing them as a family and individually.  I loved how their outfits coordinated but were not too "matchy matchy" and it always makes it more fun for me when I have beautiful people to photograph- ha!  :)  Please view some of my favorites from our session:

GMOM #2- June Session

I had another opportunity to photograph sets of twins with their families in Greensboro for the "Mothers of Multiples" group!  We had much better weather compared to the last session with this group, and had lots of fun!  Sneak Peek collages are above.  If you would like to purchase an 8x10 collage for $20 each, please contact me at KellyFullerGood@yahoo.com by Friday, June 9 as I will be placing my order to be delivered directly to your home (so please include your mailing address in your email) on that evening.  I can change the collage to Black&White, Sepia, and even change the "mat" color.  Just let me know if you have any questions.  I think they turned out great!  Your CDs will be put in the mail tomorrow.

Swaine Family

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to photograph a sweet family for the second time!  These friends were my very first clients last August and I got to witness, first hand, how much a child can mature between sessions!  This is the fun part of repeat clients!  I didn't think this little boy could be any more precious, but now that he's really talking, his true personality shined through and I enjoyed capturing it through the below images.  I just love getting to catch up with people that I grew up with and watch how they interact with their children!  E & J are such great parents!  These are just a few of my favorites.
